29-year-old David López Pérez Lost Control Of Minivan And Fatally Crashed Into Home In The Southside Of Milwaukee


López died at the scene after crashing into a home on W. Windlake Ave., according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On early Saturday, November  22, 2025, around 2:50 a.m., David López Pérez, 29, who was driving along W. Windlake Ave. in the Southside of Milwaukee apparently lost control of his minivan and crashed into a home at the 1900 block of W. Windlake Ave., according to Milwaukee police.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office pronounced López deceased at the scene.

Police were able to recover outdoor surveillance camera video showing the minivan traveling at a high rate of speed, losing control and crashing head on into the home.

López was originally from Rio Rama, Santos Domingo Tepuxtepec, Mexico.
