526 Native American Dancers Representing 100 Tribal Nations Attend Three-day Hunting Moon Pow Wow 2022 In Milwaukee


The three-day Hunting Moon Pow Wow 2022 at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee draws hundreds of Native American dancers representing 100 tribal nations.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, October 21, 2022, the Hunting Moon Pow Wow 2022 took place at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee after being absent since the COVID-19 pandemic began nearly 3 years ago.

About 526 registered Native American dancers representing at least 100 tribal nations attend the three-day Pow Wow at the start of the event sponsored by Potawatomi Hotel and Casino.

The Pow Wow ends on Sunday and has free admission for the public attending. Food, frybread and an array of Native American traditional items including clothing and genuine silver Native American jewelry and etc. sold by a variety of vendors.
