Milwaukee - On Sunday, Rebecca M. Chandler, 22, of Milwaukee was taken into custody for alleged reckless injury, a felony in the multiple stabbing of Ruben Vati, 18, from Phoenix. Vati suffered more than 300 stabbings, cuts, slashing wounds and lacerations during a two day sexual encounter in apartment 9, at 918 E. Knapp St. Chandler is facing multiple charges in the sexual incident and is being held on a $150,000 bail.
The preliminary complaint and search warrant affidavit by Police Detective Michael Walisiciwicz dated November 7, revealed Vati from Arizona had travelled by bus to Milwaukee for a planned sexual fling with Chandler after meeting through the Internet. Once at Chandler's apartment unit 9, Vati was bound with duct tape and then endured a two day love making with Chandler and another woman that included numerous stab wounds. Chandler admitted to police that she inflicted multiple slash wounds to Vati during a consensual sex act, but apparently got quickly out of hand.
Vati was able to escape around 8:55 p.m. on Sunday and alerted police. Police found Vati half naked and suffering from stab wounds in his back, arms, legs, and neck. He was taken to Froedert Hospital for treatment where medical staff treated more than 300 wounds, according to the affidavit.
Police were able to back track a trail of blood to Chandler's apartment. Chandler's door was opened and when police entered the apartment on the third floor, they noticed large amounts of blood on the living room floor and also in the bedroom bedding and floor.
Chandler did not resist arrest, but told police Vati had consented to their sexual acts. She also stated, that her roommate Raven Larabee, 20, aka, "Scarlett" had done most of the cutting. Larabee originally from Colorado is believed to have been practicing Satanic rituals and occult acts. Police recovered Satanic related books and a werewolf humor book, according to police.
Larabee was taken into custody on Tuesday as well. She is being held in a $100,000 bond.
Both Chandler and Larabee are expected to be charged in the case.
Vati in his Facebook account posted "stitches."
