Randall is facing two life terms in prison in connection with the double homicide of Allen and Yracheta in South Milwaukee.

South Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Brandon J. Randall, 22, of South Milwaukee was taken into custody by multiple law enforcement agencies that included, the South Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and the Milwaukee Police Department. Randall was arrested in the City of Milwaukee, according to South Milwaukee police.
Criminal charges for two counts of 1st-degree intentional homicide and felon with possession of weapon causing death are pending against Randall in the alleged connection with the December 29, 2022 double homicide of Ava Allen, 17, and Jaelen Yracheta, 18, at 5th Ave. and Bay Heights Road in South Milwaukee.
If convicted, Randell is facing two life terms in prison without the po for Randallssibility of parole. Preliminary bail was set at $500,000 for Randall, but a hold has been place by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Both Allen and Yracheta were found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Allen had several gunshot wounds to the head and Yracheta had multiple gunshot wounds to the body, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is reviewing the criminal complaint and charges are pending.
Randall was convicted on November 20, 2018 for two felony counts, robbery with use of force and attempting to flee and elude an officer.
In May 2018, Randall then 17 was charged as an adult with beating a 43-year-old man and then carjacking his vehicle with three other teens at Washington Park near the Urban Ecology Center. Outdoor video surveillance footage captured the robbery assault and carjacking, according to the criminal complaint. Randall later confessed to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's investigators of his crime and identified his accomplices ages 18, 16 and 15 at the time. Randall was taken into custody on May 24, 2018 after police saw him driving the stolen vehicle and when they attempted a traffick stop, Randall sped away.
Randall was facing up to 21 years in prison and an additional 6 years in prison for bail jumping.
Randall was sentenced to 4 years in prison (2 years incarceration and 2 years probation consecutive to other sentencing charges) for robbery using force under a plea agreement, additional charges were dismissed, but read on the record.
Randall under a plea agreement was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison (1 year and 6 months incarceration and 2 years probation) for fleeing an officer.
Randell was released from prison in late September 2022 and was on supervision before he allegedly murdered both Allen and Yracheta on December 29, 2022 in South Milwaukee.
