Mexican Fiesta 2022 Closed Entrance Gates Into Festival On Sunday Afternoon Due To Approaching Rain Storm

No one allowed into Mexican Fiesta 2022 as rain storm approaches Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Sunday, Mexican Fiesta 2022 organizers at Summerfest grounds closed their main and South entrance gates at around 4:30 p.m. for the anticipated rain storm that was approaching the area. The entertainment at Mexican Fiesta 2022 was shut down shortly as well and festival goers took refuge at tents and other available spaces to get out of the pouring rain.

It is not clear how long the entrance gates at Mexican Fiesta 2022 will remain closed on Sunday and when will the entertainment venue at Fiesta will go back on stage. 

The popular singer Paquita la del Barrio from Mexico who mocks men who break women hearts is scheduled to perform at 8:45 p.m. at the Generac Stage.

Sunday is the last day of the 3-day Mexican Fiesta 2022.

Also, reports that some performers from Mexican Fiesta 2022 heading out of Milwaukee have been stranded at the Mitchell International Airport due to the severe rain storm weather conditions.

Update: Mexican Fiesta 2022 reopened the entrance gates just before 7:00 p.m. when the rain stopped and the festival continued until closing with no incidents, according to Mexican Fiesta organizers.
