One Vehicle Totalled In Crash After Van Runs Red Light While Speeding In Milwaukee's Southside

Van allegedly ran a red light when it was struck by another vehicle.

Milwaukee, WI- On Thursday, a two vehicle crash was reported at the S. 16th Street and W. Lincoln Ave. around 5:25 p.m. Both Milwaukee police and first responders were at the scene. The male driver of the overturned van was slightly injured and voluntarily went to the hospital.
The woman driver says, that the male driver of the van was heading eastbound on W. Lincoln when it ran a stop light. The woman driver who had the green light and was headed northbound on S. 16th says, that she applied her breaks, but struck the van, which then overturned. She claims that her neck was injured and will go to the hospital. The male driver left the scene after taking to police and first responders.
The male driver didn't have any vehicle insurance, according to the female driver.
