Milwaukee Firefighter Michael Peden Charged With 2nd-degree Sexual Assault Of Female Co-worker

Peden was taken into custody on a charge for sexual assault of a female firefighter.

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, Milwaukee Firefighter Michael Peden, 35, was charged with one felony count for 2nd-degree sexual assault with use of force in connection with a filed complaint by a female firefighter. The female firefighter alleged that Peden had sexaully assaulted (groped) her and made racial remarks. Peden's bail bond was set at $3,500 and if convicted, he is facing up to 40 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.
The Milwaukee Fire Department has an ongoing investigation and if Peden is found to have violate work rules and polices, he is facing discipline or termination.
Peden was taken into custody on December 3rd, according to court records. Peen is a heavy equipment operator with the fire department.
