Victim Of Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near Veterans Park In Milwaukee Identified As Jay Estrada

Estrada died on early Wednesday after crashing his motorcycle on a median near Veterans Park.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, Jorge "Jay" Estrada, 30, was reported killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a median while driving south on N. Lincoln Memorial Drive near Veterans Park around 2:00 a.m., according to police.
Estrada suffered severe injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Update: The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office (MEO) reported that Jorge "Jay" Estrada, 30, died from blunt force trauma after losing control of his motorcycle at the 1000 block of N. Lincoln Memorial Drive. According to MEO, Estrada was speeding, lost control, struck a median and his body was ejected and struck a light pole severing in left lower extremity. Estrada lost his left leg and was found about 100 feet from his body. Also, police found a helmet about 20 feet from Estrada's body and police believe that he was wearing it at the time of the accident. A handgun, multiple tablets of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine were recovered at the crash scene, according to police.
Estrada was riding along with two other motorcycle riders who stayed at the scene of the accident, but have not been to cooperative in providing information to police.
