Republican Obamacare Repeal Action Draws Crowd In Milwaukee's Southside

A healthcare rally against the Republican repeal of Obamacare drew an over capacity crowd at Candela's Banquet Hall, which Democratic public officials also held an outdoor impromptu discussion session in Milwaukee's Southside.

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, the Citizen Action of Wisconsin held a healthcare rally against the Republican repeal of Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) at Candela's Banquet Hall at the 2600 block of W. Natonal Ave. The indoor rally drew over 800 people, which the Milwaukee Fire Marshal had to restrict capacity and many people attending the event gathered outside for an impromptu discussion session with federal and state Democrats who are opposing a repeal of Obamacare by Republicans and President-elect Trump.
U.S. Congresswoman Gwendolynne Moore (D-Milw.), U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D) and other State of Wisconsin public officials, State Representatives Daniel Reimer (D), Christine Sinicki (D) and Jonathan Brostoff (D) and Glendale Mayor Bryan Kennedy held an impromptu outdoor Healthcare session against the Republican repeal of the Affordable Health Care Act in Milwaukee's Southside after capacity restrictions by the Milwaukee Fire Marshal were enforced at Candela's Hall on Sunday.
The overcrowded event at Candela's was sponsored by Citizen Action of Wisconsin, which coincides with U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) called for a day of action to support affordable health care for everyone in the U.S.
The Republican repeal of Obamacare will effect more than 20M people.
