Wanted Milwaukee Suspect Fatally Shoots Self At The 3400 Block Of W. Greenfield Ave.

A wanted suspect fled from Milwaukee County Sheriff deputies and ATF agents and then committed suicide outside in freezing conditions near S. 35th Street and W. Greenfield Ave.

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, Milwaukee County Sheriff deputies from the tactical unit and ATF agents attempted to serve a felony warrant, but a male suspect eluded capture and fled. The suspect shortly after took his life with a self-inflicted wound at the 3400 block of W. Greenfield Ave. 
Photos of the deceased suspect on the street were posted on Facebook by onlookers at the crime scene.
Milwaukee police reported that shots were reported at S. 23rd Street and W. Greenfield Ave. around 3:55 p.m. No further information is available at the time.
W. Greenfield Ave. at the 3400 block remained closed as authorities continue the investigation. A Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) bomb unit was also at the scene.
According to the MCSO, the ongoing investigation is being handled by the State Department of Criminal Investigations.

Update: A driver with a live dashcam on the vehicle was heading Westbound on W. Greenfield Ave. and captured the moment when an unmarked police van intentionally strike Bruce Young, 40, at the 3400 block of W. Greenfield Ave. The video dashcam recorded by the driver was released to media. The ATF has confirmed that they were the leading agency in the warrant execution for illegal possession of explosives, but that Young who was armed fled the scene while being pursued by ATF agents and MCSO deputies.
