Elpidio "Juan" Contreras Found Guilty On 25 Felony Counts For Molesting Four Girls Under The Age Of 13

Contreras molested at least four girls under the age of 13, according to the criminal complaint.

Chicago, Illinois - On Thursday, Elpidio "Juan" Contreras, 56, former host of the popular "Show de Juan Contreras" was found guilty on 25  felony counts including predatory criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child under the age of 13. The sexual assaults of the young victims happened between 1994 to 2013, according to Cook County Court records. Contreras molested four girls, one was as young as 9-years-old, 11 and the another at 13. Contreras will be sentenced on December 3, he is facing more than 70 years in prison. He is being held without bond at the Cook County jail.
Contreras was accused of repeatedly touching the 11-year-old girl's genitals, taking topless photos of her and photos in a bikini while she was taking singing lessons from him at his Hermosa neighborhood office. Another girl says that he took pictures of her while undress and had fondled her when he was teaching her how to ride a bicycle. Contreras also engaged in acts of sexual penetration with some of the victims.
Contreras, a popular TV host has been in the music business for 20 years and was the producer and conductor of his Spanish language program aired on Saturday's on TV Azteca America WJYS Channel 62.4 in the Chicago area.
