Chicago, Illinois - On Sunday, the administrator for the True News USA (TNUSA) a Chicago based blog used an article from Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) to promote their racist believes and to promote hate. TNUSA posted a HNNUSA news article about 6 suspects arrested in connection with the homicide of Alfonso Estrada, 40, on early Sunday, which he was beaten to death.
TNUSA wrote about the HNNUSA news report, but described the six suspects with the "N" word and also described Estrada as an undocumented immigrants, including that his body should be shipped back to Mexico depicting a beaner cannon. TNUSA never cited the news source, but left the byline implying that the author had writen the news article for TNUSA.
TNUSA was notified and the following statement was sent to the administrator by HNNUSA.
I noticed that you posted an article with my byline taken from Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA). You failed to cite it was reported by HNNUSA letting your followers believe that I wrote the article on Mr. Alfonso Estrada's homicide for True News USA, which I didn't. You used the HNNUSA article to express and to promote your racists believes, which I don't endorse or approve off. Your poor and racist judgement to imply that Mr. Estrada is undocumented is unwarranted. To also describe the suspects with the "N" word is just an act of bigotry in you part and your blog is only advocating racial disparity and hate among your readership, lacking any kind of ethics and professionalism, which I don't want to be associated with or implied any association," H. Nelson Goodson, Hispanic News Network U.S.A.
TNUSA updated their bigoted blog and removed the article by HNNUSA and byline, but plagiarized part of the first paragraph in red.
Editor's note:
