Flash Mob Tribute To Mike Van Deurzen Who Is Battling Cystic Fibrosis

Dozens of friends and people gathered for a Flash Mob tribute to a dance instructor struggling in his last stages of Cystic Fibrosis.

Fond du Lac, WI - On Tuesday, dozens of friends and people gathered at the Fond du Lac High School football field to do a Flash Mob dance in tribute to Mike Van Deurzen, 32, who is battling Cystic Fibrosis and is in his last stages of life, according to Julie M. Wilson, who organized the Flash Mob with family members and friends. Van Deurzen is a popular dance instructor, motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Top Hats Motorcycle Club in Wisconsin. 

Van Deurzen is currently at the University of Wisconsin-Madison hospital where he is struggling to stay awake on his last hours of life, according to family and friends. A blog was created in his name to post updated diaries of his life and struggle with Cystic Fibrosis. 

Van Deurzen has touched many lives and will be greatly missed, Facebook comments indicate. The Flash Mob video was uploaded in YouTube in tribute to his life.
