Mérida, Venezuela - On Thursday in Mérida, Venezuela a crowd outside a supermarket waited for a truck loaded with kilos of milk to be unloaded. The crowd got impatient and began to fight for a kilo (liter/litre) of milk until the truck was forced to leave and someone yelled "no more milk." Also in Miranda, Yaracuy and Caracas a shortage of bread, flour and gas have been reported causing chaos and fighting among those waiting for hours to buy or get food.
The Venezuela government has reported at least 28 deaths since, the people began protesting against President Maduro and his government for a high murder rate, food shortages and economic crisis, including human rights violations and cold blooded murders by government forces.
