Bail Set For MPS Teacher Charged With Repeated Sexual Assault Of A Child

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, bail was set at $10K bond for Armando Briseño-Alonso, 39, after being charged with repeatedly sexual assault of a child and two counts of child enticement,  including sexual contact or intercourse with a child. Briseño-Alonso is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy when he was in third grade at the Rogers Street Academy located in the 2300 block of W. Rogers Street.
Briseño-Alonso a fourth-grade bilingual teacher at Rogers Academy wanted to meet the boy again on Wednesday to have sex, but the boy refused. The boy using his mother's cell phone began texting Briseño-Alonso about the encounter. The mother discovered the texts and reported it to police.
Briseño-Alonso was taken into custody on Friday by police and a prelimary hearing was set for March 11. The complaint states, the boy told police that Briseño-Alonso touch his privates with his hands and mouth. Multiple sexual assaults occurred at the school after classes and several times at Briseño-Alonso's residence during the Summer, according to the complaint.
