King Arrested In Connection With White's Fatal Shooting In Racine

A suspect was taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a 44-year-old Racine woman.

Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, the Milwaukee County Coroner's office confirmed that Lucinda White, 44, who was shot several times on Wednesday around 10:45 p.m. in the city of Racine has died of her injuries. White was found shot in the arm and head near 6th and Villa Streets in the Racine downtown area.
She was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee where she later succumbed to her injuries on Thursday night.
On Thursday afternoon,  Ryan G. King, 45, a former boyfriend was taken into custody by police in Millersville, Tennessee in connection with White's murder.
King was taken into custody around 2:30 p.m. after police made a traffic violation stop on I-65 in Sumner County in Tennessee. The suspect had an injured hand and blood on his clothing. After further investigation, police discovered King had an open warrant from Racine and was arrested. A handgun was recovered from the BMW SUV King was driving.
