Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, thousands of Mexican Independence Day festivalgoers attended the United Migrant Opportunity Services (UMOS) event on S. Chase Ave. The parade drew hundreds of people to the Eastbound parade route from S. 20th Street to S. 6th Street along W. Oklahoma.
The 75 degree weather and all day Sunny one day festival attracted thousands to the UMOS event where La Trampa de Chicago, La Cruz de Milwaukee and other bands performed until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Food venders had long lines to serve and Mexican crafts were also available for those buying crafts and souvenirs.
