Gaddafi Reported Killed By Rebels In Sirte, Libya

Sirte, Libya - On Thursday, Abdul Hafiz Ghoda, vice chairman of Libya's National Transitional Council confirmed in a Benghazi news conference that ousted Libya's leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was killed by revolutionaries. Gaddafi was killed near Sirte, his body was stripped and then displayed around Sirte.
Gaddafi was found hiding inside a drainage pipe around 12:00 p.m. and was taken into custody. He was killed by crossfire, according to the revolutionary guards.
Gaddafi vowed to die before being captured or surrendering. Al Jazeera was able to get exclusive video footage of Gaddafi's body. Sirte fell to rebels after weeks of fighting during eight months of civil war.
Gaddafi was a wanted and hunted man for months. A warrant for crimes against humanity was issued for Gaddafi by the International Criminal Court.
