West Allis local Salsa vocalist's Rica Obsesion CD song makes it to the top ten playlist for the Newgensalsa's 80 playlist.

Milwaukee - On Monday, Octavio "Junior" Rivera Medina, a local and popular vocalist and percussionist of West Allis announced in his Facebook page that one of his songs "Lluvia" from the Rica Obsesion CD titled "Llego Mi Turno" has reached the number 8 spot of the 10 song playlist in the Newgensalsa's 80 playlist. Medina, a lead singer recorded the song with Rica Obsesion Salsa Band from Chicago.
Medina posted, "What a pleasant surprise to come home and find out that one of your songs on Rica Obsesion's CD has made the top 10 on newgensalsa's top 80 playlist!!! I am speechless!!!"
The Rica Obsesion CD hasn't even been released and one of its songs "Lluvia" is steadily climing to the number one spot.
Medina wrote on Facebook that the Rica Obsesion CD will be officially release on May 27, during a CD release party at the Cubby Bear Club in Chicago.
Medina has been a musician for the last 32 years and is currently a fulltime musician with with Rumbon D' Esquina and also vocalist with D'Calleson.
